At Dana Seals, we are committed to creating a more sustainable future. This was highlighted at the recent summer business meeting in Helsingør, where our CEO, Louise Gyllich, presented our efforts to reduce the environmental impact of our PTFE seal production.
This week, we achieved a significant milestone by sending 11.8 tons of production waste for recycling. This accomplishment is the result of years of work, as we have sought solutions for recycling PTFE—a material that is difficult to break down and requires significant energy to produce.
For over 10 years, we have been dedicated to sustainability, making substantial progress including the switch to wind energy, waste sorting, and achieving ISO 14001 environmental certification. For us, sustainability is not just about reducing our own carbon footprint—it’s about ensuring the future sustainability of our customers and society.
“We don’t have a future as a company if we don’t take the green transition seriously,” says Louise Gyllich. With this vision, we continue our work to stay ahead in developing more responsible production practices.
At Dana Seals, we are confident that companies that take responsibility for their environmental impact will also have a competitive advantage in the future. That’s why we are committed to continuing this green journey with our customers and partners.
