DanaRotoFlex R65

DanaRotoFlex is designed for rotary movement and a wide range of operating conditions. In a real-life application, this type lasted for 500 hours in lubricating oil at a pressure of 5 MPa, a speed of 2 m/s and a temperature of 50 °C. Thanks to its dry-running ability, chemical resistance and vast temperature range, it is suitable for a wide variety of applications.
An appropriate quality of the dynamic counterface is essential for good results. A surface hardness of 55–60 HRC is recommended for a hard layer with a thickness of up to 0.5 mm.

As there can be major differences from one application to another, particularly in rotary applications, even with minor operating-condition variations, testing and approval should always be carried out under the actual working conditions.

DanaRotoFlex R65 is also available in a Hi-Clean version, where the spring groove is filled with FDA-approved silicone to ensure an easy-to-clean seal.

The performance of the seal will always depend on the overall picture of the working conditions.

Verification can only be done by testing the seal in the actual working conditions.
