Heavy DanaGlide P320

Heavy DanaGlide is a heavy version of DanaGlide. Heavy DanaGlide is a piston seal designed for double-acting applications in heavy industry like hydraulic presses and steel mills. In dynamic applications, the seal rides on a lubricating media film, which extends the service life. The media film moves from the low-pressure side to the high-pressure side.

Especially when Heavy DanaStep is made in our new materials based on modified PTFE, DanaFlon 20, DanaFlon 45 and DanaFlon 51 an optimal form stability and extrusion resistance is achieved. To ensure that the profile ring is pressure activated even in conditions with rapid pressure changes, the seal is delivered with notches.

*DF25 is similar to the well known DF24, but has even higher formstability against extrusion.
*DF51 is similar to the well known DF55, but has even higher formstability against extrusion.
The Rubber-Profile-Rings may limit the temperature range and need to be compatible with the media.
The performance of the seal will always depend on the total picture of working conditions.
Verifying the performance of the seal can only be done by test at the actual working conditions.
