Heavy DanaStep Pressure Relieved Rod Seal R311

Heavy DanaStep Pressure Relieved is not only a heavy version of DanaStep. The seal is also designed with a unique ventilating function. In case of a pressure build-up between the two seals, it can open and relieve the pressure from behind.

This unique profile has a pressure relieve hole (2). The hole secures that in case of pressure build-up between seals, the pressure can be relieved. The support edge (5) designed with axial grooves. The support edge secures correct positioning of the primary sealing edge.

*DF25 is similar to the well known DF24 and *DF51 is similar to the well known DF55, but they has even higher formstability against extrusion.
The Rubber-Profile-Rings may limit the temperature range and need to be compatible with the media.
The performance of the seal will always depend on the total picture of working conditions.
Verifying the performance of the seal can only be done by test at the actual working conditions.
